Stamp of the German "Protektorat Böhmen und Mähren" (= Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia); 1939; definitive stamp DRBM Michel No. 7; definitive stamp of Czechoslovakia (Michel No. 400 from 1938) with double line overprint of the new country name "Böhmen und Mähren / Čechy a Morava" and fessed old coutry name.; The stamp motive shows a view to the armament factory in Pilsen (Czech: Plzeň) and was an issue to the stamp exhibitions in Pilsen and Kosice (= German: "Großkositz" in Eastern Bohemia, district of "Hradec Králové", German: "Königgrätz"), on the banks of the river "Bystrice" (Germanː "Bystritz" = a tributary of the Elbe)).; The initial stamps issued from the government of this protectorate (1-19) were valid until to the (also accepted as mixed frankings).
