Stamp of the Nazi-German "Protektorat Böhmen und Mähren" (= Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia); 1942; suuplementory stamp to the definitive issue „Lime leaves and landscapes“; depicted is the stamp Michel No. 43C from 1942 (34a from 1939 = Color: black blueish grey; Michel No. 34aI from 1939 = the same color, but the inner frame touches the outer frame (upper left); Michel No. 37II, Color: blue grey, no touching; Michel No. 34c from 1942, Color: black blue, no touching).; This village was founded end of 13th cenury in a wetland riparian landscape of the river Oder. (German name: "Teufelsdorf", later "Ellgoth"; Czech name: "Czotowahoza", later "Čertova Lhota" or only "Lhota" (German: "Marienberg", names until 1901, since 1901: "Mariánské Hory").; Bishop Stanislaus Thurzo von Olmütz (1470-1540) gave this village as present to the town Ostrau with the obligation on a yearly delivery with carps and pikes to his castle.; There was later an industrial areal with a mine as core point.; Since 1847 were in the near of this village built the tracks of the „Kaiser-Ferdinand-Nordbahn“ from Vienna to Krakau in Poland. (railway station "Mährisch-Ostrau"). In 1907 was this location awarded by the Austrian-Hungarian Emperor Franz Joseph I with the law of town.; Since 1924 is this village also officially a quarter of Ostrava (Ostrau) after amalgamation (German: „Eingemeindung“) in order to create a "Greater Ostrava".; The depicted stamp is showing any furnaces for iron melting over the entrance to the mine.; The depicted stamps is originated in the Nazi-time.; The Nazi-protectorate "Bohemia and Moravia" was erected at and existed until to , although the old Nazi-stamps could official be used until according to an Ordinance of the Czechoslovak Postal Administration.; Reasonable for stamps of the "Protektorat" was in each case the "Postal Supervision" (German: "Postaufsicht") of the German Empire.
