Description
Nederlands: Replica van een Nieuport 24 (N2262G; gebouwd door Carl Swanson) van het Stampe en Vertongen Museum tijdens de Motoren draaidag. Het heeft een authentieke 85pk Gnome rotatiemotor. Het toestel is in volledig vliegwaardige staat, maar vliegt zelden omdat er weinig piloten zijn die ervaring hebben met rotatiemotoren.
English: Replica of a Nieuport 24 (N2262G; built by Carl Swanson) of the Stampe en Vertongen Museum during Engines on the block day. This Nieuport 24 replica is fitted with an original 85hp Gnome rotary engine. The engine is still fully serviceable and is run regularly.
