Description
English: Tall cup (a) and cover (b). Trumpet-shaped circular foot embossed with ogee pattern at edge; above, a strip of embossed upright scallops and six upright tulips. Waisted stem with large double-cushion knop. Ovoid body chased with symmetrical vines within ogee arches. Center of both sides with large blossoms centered with bezel-set opal. Reeded scroll handles attached at lip and terminating at lower juncture with leaves. Cover (b) slightly domed, embossed with reverse ogee curves and blossoms pointing downward. At center, an ovoid finial with upright ogee curves and flowers. Interior of cup and cover gilded.
