Description
Deutsch: Im Jahr 1964 wurde das AG 52 im Rahmen einer Geschwaderverlegung mit der RF-104G ausgerüstet. Lt. GERMAN MILITARY AVIATION 1956-1976, Midland Counties Publications 1976, Burbage, Hinckley, Leicestershire LE10 2EG, England, ISBN 0 904597 03 2, Seite 40 war diese Lockheed TF-104G Starfighter (Doppelsitzer) mit Code EB-373 ein Einzelstück beim Aufklärungsgeschwader 52 in Leck (Schleswig-Holstein), und flog als Communications & IRF aircraft. Auf Seite 83 der o.g. Veröffentlichung wird auf eine spätere, zeitlich nicht benannte Verwendung dieser TF-104G (EB-373) auf dem NATO Übungsplatz Decimomannu auf Sardinien verwiesen. Ab 1971 rüstet das AG 52 auf die McDonnell RF-4E Phantom II um.
