Description
English: Jimbour House around 1894 after it had gone into receivership The property shows sign of neglect, the once manicured lawns overgrown and the sandstone covered in creepers. The house was erected by Joshua Peter Bell in 1874-1876 . This is the rear view of the house. by this date Jimbour was in the receivership of the Queensland National Bank, but Lady Bell was still in residence. (Description supplied with photograph.).
