Description
English: Statfold Barn Railway - recently restored locomotive The lead locomotive is Hudswell Clarke (Leeds) 0-6-0 WT 1643 of 1930 and used by Surrey County Council on the construction of the Guildford bypass. It was later used in the Penrhyn slate quarries. Behind it is an 0-4-0 tender engine that was built by Davenport in the USA in 1917 and worked at the Bihar State Sugar Factory at Ryam, India. It arrived in 2013 and was a complete wreck when seen in March 2014 - SK2406 : Statfold Barn Railway - in need of some attention!. By September it was in the works - SK2406 : Statfold Barn Railway - firebox under repair SK2406 : Statfold Barn Railway - in the works. It was in steam at the March 2015 event.
