Description |
English: Starting in 1908, the "May Blossom" joined two other steamboats which operated between Bothell and Madison Park. The "May Blossom," later renamed the "City of Bothell," was particularly known for its jointed smokestack which could be folded down when passing under bridges or other low obstructions. This photo, taken sometime between 1908 and 1917, shows the steamer "May Blossom" and several cows near the entrance to Sammamish Slough at Bothell. Original title: Bothell, Wash. Original photographic print (postcard): Romans, W.P., between 1908 and 1917. Copied in 1998 by the Museum of History and Industry.
