Summary edit

Description
English: As seen in October 2021: the Stephen Wilson House at 71 Mill Street is one of several old stone houses that dot the leafy residential lanes of Williamsville, New York. It's a three-bay-wide, two-and-a-half-story, side-gabled vernacular Greek Revival house made of blocks of locally quarried Onondaga limestone and dating to about the 1830s according to most estimates. A modern addition to the rear dates to about 1960. Appropriately enough given the material used in its construction, the house was built and occupied by Stephen Wilson (1804-1875), a stonecutter who most probably was employed at the quarries at what's now Glen Park.
