"E.W. Stewart" seems like an error; Stewart and Holmes were Alexander B. Stewart and Henry E. Holmes; a sign can be seen here saying "A.B. Stewart". "Front Street" later became First Avenue. A large sign for Stewart & Holmes Drug Co. at this location can be seen at [:File:Pioneer Square looking northwest from James St, Seattle, ca 1900-1903 (SEATTLE 3064).jpg]].
