English: Stoke Toll House and cottage A plaque on the door dates this building as around 1729. Sadly it has been altered a great deal since that time. The building is adjacent to the grounds surrounding Stoke Hall and it is unclear as to whether tolls were collected from travellers on the B6001 or the side road to Froggatt - or both. |
