Summary edit

Description
English: Stone Cross, Kilnave. In the grounds of the cemetery is a ruined chapel. This could well be the site of the church where about thirty Macleans of Mull took refuge after the battle in 1598 at the head of Loch Gruinart with the local Macdonalds. The Macdonalds set fire to the church and all the Macleans were burnt to death.
