Summary edit
DescriptionStone setts in Borelli Yard, Farnham.jpg |
English: Stone setts in Borelli Yard, Farnham, Surrey. According to the heritage listing the ironstone setts originally extended across the whole width of the yard, interrupted by two bands of boulders; but now the ironstone setts on the outer sides of the bands of boulders have been replaced by brick paving. The heritage listing also mentions that "north of the stable block, ironstone setts are arranged to form an attractive diamond shaped mosaic" — these are still present on the righthand side (out of picture), but are in a poor condition, and the pattern is barely recognisable.
