  • Significance: One of several of Frank Lloyd Wright's concrete block houses built in southern California. The John Storer residence, built in 1923, is one of several concrete block houses designed by Frank Lloyd Wright in So. Calif. The multi-level plan surrounds a central fireplace and its two-story living room opens onto two outdoor terraces. The 16" concrete blocks are used on a 4' module both in plan and elevation.
