Nel mezzo dellarco trionfale vedesi Gerusa-lemme, il Redentore è nel centro fra due Angeli, collasinistra tiene il globo sormontato dalla croce, e con ladestra è in atto di benedire. Allintorno gli vengono daciascuna parte nove Santi che gli offrono le corone. Ailati poi delle due porte stanno alcuni Angeli, seguiti dauna moltitudine di fedeli, che mostrano di indirizzarsicon le loro offerte verso la città. Codesta processionecontinua anche di sotto, dove alcuni portano donativied altri palme. ^ Il mosaico dell abside si può dire più che altro unasemplice imitazione di quello esistente nella chiesadeSanti Cosma e Damiano. Il Redentore nel mezzo ènello stesso atteggiamento, ha sotto i piedi il Giordano,e al di sopra la mano dell Eterno con corona. Alla destra * Talune di queste figure scomparvero nel restauro moderno chisi foce alla chiesa.
