apparisce nella disposizione delle figuree nel collegamento delle varie parti della composizione.Nel dipinto di Masaccio tutto è disposto in mtdo chele linee si seguono con buon accordo, armonizzandoIra loro, di maniera che locchio dellosservatore scorreda un estremo allaltro dellaffresco, ed é condotto conpiacere ad osservare tutto lo svolgimento della scena.Questa caratteristica riscontrasi anche nelle opere diGiotto, il grande riformatore dell arte di cui Masacciofu seguace. Nel dipinto di Filippino, le due rappresentazioninon si collegano così bene tra loro. Questo medesimodifetto riscontrasi, come abbiamo già notalo, nelle operedel Botticelli ed anche in quelle di Fra Filippo. Nella composizione di Masaccio la scena, che sapreda un lato a destra dello spetlalore, con la figura diSan Pietro in cattedra e con le altre che lo circondano, 1 Manca in parte il colore alle ali dellAngelo. Tanto laureola do-rata dellAngelo quanto quella di San Pietro sono anchesse qua e làmancanti.
