English: Stourton North Bridge, M621 The A61/A639 pass under the M621 motorway at this bridge. It is almost a twin of Stourton South bridge, except that it is founded on spread footings. The underlying coal workings were grouted with a mix of PFA and cement before the bridge was built in 1970. The Leeds Supertram was planned to run alongside the carriageway under the bridge to a park and ride interchange close by. |
