Deutsch: Salzmühlen-Beiwagen Nr. 3901 Typ s 4.48, Baujahr 1965 der Straßenbahn München (mehrere Unternehmen). Dies ist einer von vier zu diesem Zweck umgebauten Poststraßenbahnbeiwagen, da die Poststraßenbahn in München eingestellt wurde. Die Umbauten umfaßten unter anderen der Verschluß der vier Ladeöffnungen für die Postbehälter (Jalousien) mit Querlatten, der Einbau einer Salzmühle, zwei Austrittsöffnungen auf Schienenbreite (eine pro Schiene), eine Öffnung zum Befüllen im Dach sowie eine Umlackierung von gelb auf orange. Dieser Arbeitswagen war von ca. 1960 bis ca. 1992 im Einsatz für den Winterbetrieb. Damit wurde Streusalz vor Ort gemahlen zum Auftauen der Gleise über diesen verteilt. |
