Description
Deutsch: Der Brunnen steht am westlichen Rand der Mittelinsel, die zwischen den Fahrbahnen liegt und die Führung von Alt-Wittenau zur Gorkistraße von der zweibahnigen Rosentreterpromenade trennt. Der neue Brunnen mit einem Straßeneinlass steht direkt gegenüber vom Grundstückseingang 3a. Bis in die Mitte der 2010er Jahre stand auf der Mittelinsel noch eine Säule (vierteilig)[1], jedoch gegenüberlieg am nordöstlichen Rand (etwa gegenüber von Nr. 6).[2] Die alte und neue Lage des Sockelrohrs liegt 12 Meter auseinander und es war wohl eine neue Quellbohrung abgesenkt worden. Am alten Brunnen hing ein "Autowaschen verboten"-Schild über dem Wasseraustritt. Brunnenfuß und Muldenplatte für den Wasserablauf lagen in einer Fläche aus 3 * 4 Gehwegplatten. Am neuen Standort fehlen Hinweisschilder, Schwengel und Austritt liegen gegenüber und längs zum Bordstein. Zur Straßenführung zwischen Tegel und Wittenau (Gorkistraße) war (wohl auch) eine direkte Fortsetzung der Hauptstraße (seit 1952 Alt-Wittenau) in die 1914 geschaffene Rosentreterpromenade nach Waidmannslust (jetzt Steinbergpark) vorgesehen.
