English: The Amalgamated Association of Street Railway Employees of America is a union that was founded in 1892 after a convention of several street railway worker's unions. Now known as the Amalgamated Transit Union (ATU), the labor union represents employees in the public transit industry, and has over 200,000 members throughout the United States and Canada.
The Division No. 587 membership certificate pictured here was issued to Floyd Jefferson Hepler (1894-1976), a conductor for the Seattle municipal railway from at least 1920-1940.
