Summary edit

Description

Strelitzia juncea (cf. juncea, Juncus)

English: A warning sign in the Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, Cape Town: No Rush-leaved Strelitzias will remain the wild if people continue to remove them for horticultural purposes. This drought resistant Strelitzia occurs sparsely near Uitenhage, Patensie and just north of Port Elizabeth.
