English: Stromatolite from Asse near Braunschweig, Germany. This item is a type of the original description of Ernst Louis Kalkowsky: Oolith und Stromatolith im Norddeutschen Buntsandstein. In: Zeitschrift der Deutschen Geologischen Gesellschaft. Bd. 60, 1908, S. 68-125. It is the item of Plate XI, Fig. 1, now in the collection Senckenberg Naturhistorische Sammlungen Dresden, Germany, Inv.-No. MMG PB NsTr 2.
Deutsch: Stromatolith aus dem Höhenzug Asse bei Braunschweig, Deutschland. Es ist ein Typ-Original der Beschreibung von Ernst Louis Kalkowsky: Oolith und Stromatolith im Norddeutschen Buntsandstein. In: Zeitschrift der Deutschen Geologischen Gesellschaft. Bd. 60, 1908, S. 68-125.
