stippled, cementum); synclines showing enamel crenellations at the base and enamel islets are indicated. The specimen belonged to a relatively young individual, as it still has at the occlusal surface enamel islets of the first and second type (see text and Fig. 4). The tooth in posterior view (B) showing the stepped occlusal surface and the base of the lower enamel border, at the base of the crown. The conical root is reconstructed from another specimen. |
