| Description | Suffolk Public School’s students learn first-hand environmental science, marine biology and ecology lessons aboard the Chesapeake Bay Foundation’s Jenny S. All Suffolk Public Schools’ 7th grade Life Science students learn first-hand environmental science, marine biology and ecology lessons aboard a Chesapeake Bay Foundation boat. Through a partnership with the Nansemond River Preservation Alliance, students capture and study marine life, examine marsh fauna and flora, and discuss stormwater runoff to learn how to maintain coastal ecosystems and keep Virginia waterways healthy. |
