Summary edit

Description
English: A utility pipe (likely rainwater runoff) suspended under the Mission Boulevard bridge over the Alameda Creek in Fremont, California, USA. The great leeway afforded by the rolling suspension joints allow for differing thermal expansion rates and also help the structure survive mild earthquakes. View is from the underpass that carries the Alameda Creek Trail under the bridge on the left (south) bank.
