Description

Deesis from Dormition Cathedral in Moscow

ДЕИСУС. Первая треть XIII века. Владимиро-Суздальская Русь (?). Дерево; темпера. 61,5 х 146,5. Поступил в 1936 году. Находился в Успенском соборе Московского Кремля, где помещался на южной стене, над гробницей митрополита Филиппа. Реставрация начата в 1935 году в Государственной Оружейной палате, продолжена и завершена в 1936 в ГТГ И.А. Барановым. ГТГ.
