| Description | These caves contain swallows nests. The scaffolding is there for people to harvest the nests, which are a chinese delicacy and coincidentally very expensive. The nests are made from the swallows' saliva (yum!) and I believe when cooked have a texture a bit like mung-bean noodles. |
