Description
Svenska: Frimärke 50 öre 1858. Användes främst på inrikes, assurerade brev och på åtskilliga brev till utlandet. En hög valör, ett frimärke kostade flera timmars arbete. Grundfärgen är krapplack. I Postmuseum finns ett brev med inte mindre än 34 st. femtioöringar varav tre 8-strip (åtta sammanhängande märken). Museet har också en unik, stämplad helkarta med hundra märken och bevarad omgivande marginal. Den har makulerats i Göteborg den 5 april 1867. Upplaga: 3 969 900, 50 öre. Märkena framställdes utan vattenmärke (endast i arkmarginalerna). Ogiltiga till frankering fr. o. m. den 30 december 1910. Frimärket på bilden är från Postmuseums samlingar.
