CERES PATENT 1742
PATENT 2517 för underlättande af ifyllningen.
1) Tillse att torfmull alltid finnes i behållaren
2) Använd torfmull, ej torfströ; söndersmulad, heslt grofsållad.
3) Förse kärlets botten med minst tumstjockt torfmullslager, som väl täcker densamma. Sådant åstadkommes medels tryckning å sitsen samt kärlets skakning.
4) Töm kärlet innan det blifver öfverfullt.
5) Begagna ej papper mer än behöfligt, helst saitetspapper eller mindre stycken. Kasta det bakut.
6) Nattkärl får ej tömmas i apparaten.
7) Kärlet renspolas vid behof med vätten., helst karbolhaltigt; urinblecket rensas med fuktig trasa.

Norsk bokmål: I følge Fleischer's hotel - tradisjon og atmosfære side 26 og 28 ble toalettstolen innkjøpt av Fleischer's hotell på Vossevangen i anledning keiser Wilhelm av Tysklands besøk i 1890. I kongesuiten skaffet hotellet et svensk patentert toalett som hadde torvmuld i en beholder over setet mot veggen. Når noen satte seg på toalettet, ble en mengde torvmuld automatisk målt opp, og når en reiste seg, falt denne mulden ned i kummen. Firmaet CERES i Malmø merket «tørrklosettene» med patentnummeret og salgsnummer. Møbelet har luker i ryggen, på setet og foran.
