English: Shweta Bhairav Temple in the Hanumandhoka Durbar Square area of Kathmandu. This statue of Shweta Bhairav is on the side of the wall in front of Hanuman Dhoka on the south side. This statue of Bhairav was built by Shri Rana Bahadur Shah in the year 1852 BS. There is a belief that worshiping these Bhairavs will free one from suffering, suffering, vampires, ghosts, etc. This idol of Bhairav is opened to the public every year on the occasion of Indrajatra Festival and only half of the great festival of Nepalis, Vijayadashami, is opened for a few days. This statue is very attractive and scary. This sculpture is made of brass in a very artistic style.
