English:
Tisza Hotel. Two storey three facades building. It was built in 1885 (other source 1882) according to the plans of Nándor Jiraszek and Lipót Krausz. It was named in honour of Kálmán Tisza's 10-year tenure as prime minister. The banquet hall of the hotel – where Béla Bartók has performed several times – is one of the centres of Szeged's musical life. The hotel closed in 1949 and reopened after renovation in 1963.
