English:
Former fire station and ambulance station. Now only ambulance station. 'Built to Fire barracks and economic site'. Eclectic, with romantic elements in 1896–1899. Mihály Tóth served the City as a design engineer between 1880 and 1918; According to his plans, two separate courtyards were originally established: the fire brigade barracks and the farm site. The contractor was István Ádok. In 1924, a two-storey building was built according plans of technical councillor Lajos Fenyő. In 1949 the ambulance station was developed according to the plans of Tibor Névery. Now they have taken full possession of the entire site after the firefighters moved out to their new barracks at 2-4 Napos Road. There is a limestone plaque to Ferenc Papp, size: 50x80 cm Text: 'Ferenc Papp, outstanding commander-in-chief of the fire brigade of the city of Szeged lived and worked in this house between 1906 and 1936.' Ferenc Papp organized the fire brigades in the city. The memorial plaque on the wall of the former fire barracks was made with the private donation of teacher Éva Papp, daughter of Ferenc Papp, designed by sculptor Márton Kalmár. Material: marble, 50x70 cm Text: 'In memory of those involved in fire protection in the city of Szeged on the 100th anniversary of organized fire protection. 1879-1979' - Plaqu no.3: On the façade of the building there is also a relief memorial plaque entitled In memory of the victims of the Szeged air raid Erected 2014., by Marek Brzózka.
