Description
English: A Soviet medium tank T-34-85 Model 1944 mounted as a monument at the Memorial of Glory in Korolyov, Moscow Oblast, Russia.
Before the installation as a monument the tank was stored on the Monino Base of Armaments (Losino-Petrovsky, Moscow Oblast).
The monument was unveiled on 9 May 2000[1].
The inscription on the pedestal: “Kaliningrad[2] to the battlefront. The medium tank T-34-85 Model 1944. 85 mm tank gun ZIS-S-53. CADB[3] 1943. The chief designer — Grabin Vasily Gavrilovich. 9 May 2000.”
Русский: Советский средний танк Т-34-85 образца 1944 года, установленный в качестве памятника. Мемориал Славы, Королёв, Московская область, Россия.
Танк доставлен с Монинской базы вооружения (Лосино-Петровский, Московская область).
Торжественное открытие памятника состоялось 9 мая 2000 года[1].
