Trout River, Newfoundland. Fueling up at Tablelands Convenience. Trout River was supposed to be my lunch stop; instead, it was after dark when I arrived. I was frustrated by the fact that the fiasco with Marine Atlantic was continuing to mess with my itinerary, and in fact, I was so tired that I didn't even bother closing the car door before taking this picture.

One thing that was pretty cool was that the gas I pumped into my car came from an above-ground tank - you can sort of make it out at the far left of the photo. I'd never seen that before.

Trout River, Terre-Neuve. Ravitaillement à la station-service «Tablelands Convenience» (Dépanneur des Tablelands).
