TABVLA SMARAGDINA HERMETIS TRISmegiſti ρϙἰ χεμἰατ. Incerto interprete.
VErba Secretorū Hermetis, q̄ ſcripta erăt in tabula Smaragdi, inter manus eius in uenta, in obſcuro antro, in q̊ humatum corpus eius repertū eſt. Verū ſine mendacio, certū, & ueriſsimū. Quod eſt inferius, eſt ſicut q̊d eſt ſuperius. Et q̊d eſt ſuꝑius, eſt ſicut q̊d eſt inferius, ad ꝑpetrāda miracula rei unius. Et ſicut oēs res fuerūt ab uno, meditatiōe unius. Sic oēs res natæ ſucrūt ab hac una re, adapcatiōe. Pater eius eſt Sol, mater eius Luna. Portauit illud uentus in uētre ſuo. Nutrix eius terra eſt. Pater omnis teleſmi totius mūdi eſt hic. Vis eius integra eſt, ſi uerſa fuerit in terrā. Separabis terrā ab igne, ſubtile à ſpiſſo, ſuauit’ cū magno ingenio. Aſcendit à terra in cœlū, iterumq̄ deſcēdit in terrā, & recipit uim ſuperiorū & inferiorū. Sic habebis gloriā totius mundi. Ideo fugiet à te omnis obſcuritas. Hic eſt totius fortitudinis fortitudo fortis, ꝗa uincet omnem rem ſubtilem, omnemq̄ ſolidam penetrabit. Sic mundus creatus eſt. Hinc erunt adaptationes mirabiles, quarū modus hic eſt. Itaq̄ uocatus ſum Hermes Triſmegiſtus, habens tres partes philoſophiæ totius mundi. Completū eſt, q̊d dixi de operatiōe Solis.
