English: Tafolog The empty, north facing slope of this upland valley is named Tafolog on the map. It is almost entirely a tussocky bog with cotton grass and rushes. In the distance power pylons run through the Bwlch y Ddeufaen, a traditional route for a Roman and older trackway. Glaciers have swept the hillside clean, moving boulders from the higher outcrops westwards and dumping them on the hillsides above Llanfairfechan. |
