| Description |
English: Designed in 1972 by architect Veikko Malmio, this brutalist building conforms to then prevailing principles of car dependency in the city. Later, the state Postal Service was forced to adapt to diminishing returns amidst competition and changes brought on by the emerging Internet, and the building proved to be redundant. The former Tampere Main Post Office Building now houses apartments and offices for various businesses. |
