Story: Shimoga March 1, 2010: Two persons were killed, including one in police firing and over 100 were injured as violence broke out when groups of people went on a rampage after taking out a protest march against the publication of Kannada translation of an article written by author Taslima Nasreen in a daily today. The injured included six journalists who were beaten up by the mob when they came to cover the incident.
