San Pedro Avril (So identified by an officer of the church, who said the saint's feast is April 29. That is the feast of St. Peter of Verona, usually known in Oaxaca as San Pedro Mártir.) Dominican habit, palm branch, tonsure, hands pressed together in prayer. Wood, gesso, paint; natural palm; about 2' (60 cm.) including base.
