English: A unique characteristic of Telok Ayer Green, Singapore, is the three sets of sculptures that depict the lives of early settlers in this part of Chinatown. Telok Ayer Green is in the vicinity where some of the first immigrants to Singapore first landed. Seen here is Chinese Procession (2001) by Lim Leong Seng, which depicts a Chinese Lantern Festival procession. (Special thanks to Boccacino for his generous sharing of lovely textures. Not a HDR. Blending of textures, multiplied with erasing in steps of 30% to the desired effect. Original picture at the base layer untouched. Finished with a slight unsharp mask and highlight.) |
