Description
Italiano: l tempio dedicato a Hera è eretto in stile dorico verso la metà del VI secolo a.C.. Una pianta maestosa composta da 8 colonne sul fronte e 17 sui lati lunghi. Il vicino tempio dedicato ad Apollo Likaios, ha dimensioni leggermente più ridotte ed è sempre in stile dorico. Del tempio resta solo la trincea di fondazione, ma i numerosi pezzi erratici permettono di datarlo al 470 a.C. e di asserire che fosse in stile ionico e dedicato ad Artemide. Al centro dell’area sacra un altro piccolo tempio è intotolato a Dioniso.
