Description Tenham meteorite slice. This historic meteorite fell in the spring of 1879 in South Gregory, Queensland, Australia. It is classified as an L6 Chondrite. This specimen is a fusion crusted half slice that weighs 72.3 grams making it the largest slice currently residing in my collection. Michael Cottingham purchased a large individual from Blaine Reed years ago and this piece was sliced from that mass.
