English: Localization of MyoB-GFP during septation. Nuclei are shown with histone H1-mCherry. As the hypha proceeds toward septation, MyoB begins to accumulate between some nuclei. It is visible as string-like structures. In some cases, MyoB begins to accumulate between two nuclei and then disappears and accumulates between two different nuclei. Eventually the MyoB accumulates into a compact structure extending across the hypha. The structure becomes smaller with time and string-like myoB aggregates can be seen leaving the mass until the structure disappears. Z-series stacks were collected at 30 sec intervals over 40 min. The playback rate is 30 X real time. |
