English: The A6091 Melrose Bypass The verges of the 3km of A6091 road from Melrose Roundabout to the junction at the eastern end of Melrose is a mass of yellow in spring. The daffodils were planted several years ago and the area around the Borders General Hospital is known as the Marie Curie Cancer Care Border Field of Hope. The annual Marie Curie Cancer Care Easter Daffodil Mile Walk begins at the Borders General Hospital along the footpath by the A6091 to Melrose to raise funds for Marie Curie Cancer Care. |
