       This leather jacket worn by Elvis Presley is kindly on loan from
                        Elvis Presley Enterprises Inc.

As part of his wardrobe, Elvis adopted the leather motorcycle jacket look. This look is and was
the representation of true rebellion and the clothing that defined a generation. This can be
when in the five of greater looks in America and Teddy Boy look in England.

Although the most defining look in the 1950s fashion, the greater look can be described in
having tight trousers and leather jackets. This simple look represented danger and echoed the
sentiments of James Dean's Rebel Without A Cause character, one of Elvis' favorite films.

The jacket is on display at the Beatles Story to symbolize the huge influence Elvis had on the 
Beatles and their music.

Paul McCartney once said “Every time I felt low, I just put on an Elvis record and I'd feel great, 
beautiful.”

taking part in the 50 years of Rock 'n' Roll
celebrations.
