| Description |
English: The Borough Bridge, Brockham, Surrey. This bridge, which spans the River Mole, is just north of Brockham Green on the way to Reigate and Dorking. Opened in 1757, it carries a single-track road, and its sound design and construction are apparent from the photograph. The abutments have sideways extensions which suggests that a parallel footway may have been intended, or even once existed, but that is not necessary now as a separate footbridge has been built slightly downstream |
