| Description |
English: The Cahard Road near Saintfield (2). See 850842. The same road, in this square, as it passes through the drumlins of mid/east Down. The view is towards Saintfield. The traditional gate posts, with conical tops, were said to be a way of keeping the Devil from sitting on them (presumably he intended resting before venturing through). |
