Description
English: The Chapel of St Nicholas, Swansea. The interior of the Seamens Church. Situated on the dockside. Now an art gallery. On 13 July 1886 my great grandfather James Quentin Battye, aged 29 married his young bride Elizabeth Williams aged just 19 and from the Gwaun Valley in Pembrokeshire. James was a sailor and Seamens Union Secretary from New York, USA.
