| Description |
English: The Crossgar Road, Saintfield Saintfield lies on the Belfast - Downpatrick road. This is the view towards Belfast entering the town from Crossgar/Downpatrick. There were plans in the mid-70s to build a bypass on the course of the old BCDR railway. They were abandoned when a society announced plans to re-open part of the line as a preserved line. Nothing ever happened and the bypass was never built. |
