| Description |
English: The Cutting on the Cwm Dwyfor Branch Line A mile long branch tramway was built around 1875 from the Prince of Wales Compact Mill to the Cwm Dwyfor Copper Mine. It involved constructing a 30 ft deep cutting and, at the end of the line, an incline up to the mine. It is estimated that the total tonnage carried on this branch line was less than 35. The mine closed in 1877. The scheme was paid for by gullible investors.
